The way to Scandinavia

Today the sunrise was at 4:43. It is slightly cloudy, very windy, but warm (24°C). We got up at nine o’clock. Then we took a shower in the camp. We packed the clothes we washed yesterday and slowly left the camp into the direction of the Muuga Harbour. On the way we went shopping and filled petrol.

Now we are waiting for our ship, which will take us over the Gulf of Finland to Scandinavia. The ferry is blue and white. It has a big tummy. There are many cars and lorries in it. The name of the ship is Finbo Cargo. I like the name.
More impressions I will write from Helsinki.
On the ferry we played uno and I watched a film with my dad, while Klara and Matea were sleeping, and mum and Philip did crosswords. The sea was pretty shaky, and we were swinging right and left much more than we would expect.
As we arrived in Helsinki, we went to Carina’s mother- and father-in-law, we brought them the things her parents (Karl and Gerti) gave us with for her. Then we drove to the place we decided to stay tonight.

Already on the way there we saw, how beautiful the nature of Finland is. When we arrived here, mom told us to discover the surroundings, while she prepared dinner with my dad. We (the children) walked along the path to the lake. Finland is known to have many lakes, this was the first one we have seen and it made a very good first impression. We made some photos then we had to go back for dinner.

We ate salmon, we bought in Tallin, and it was delicious (ups I though this word was called suspicious). For the end of the day we all together (also mum and dad) went back to the lake and witnessed the lake surroundings with the beautifully setting sun.
