Today we woke up in the small village Mszana. There was a nice parking place for motorhomes and near was a nice fitness park for recreation. Of course we did not miss the every morning thunderstorm, but when we stood up it was a nice day waiting.
We started at nine o’clock into the direction of Warsaw. Polnisch motorways are very good, when they are finished building, so we drove quite comfortably for the first 50 km and from then on was a never ending construction yard.
Warshaw (km 1.063)
We arrived in Warsaw at 15:30 and went for a walk into the old town We had lunch at the restaurant Feta na Freta, where we got traditional polnisch food. It was delicious.
There we met a friend of dad Greg, who showed us through the town. We visited the town center wit the royal garden and saw many beautiful churches. But my highlight of the day was the visit of the gardens of the University of Warsaw. The whole building is integrated into the nature. The building is green from outside and surrounded by gardens and water, even on the roof. It has a perfect atmosphere for learning and relaxing. Then we went through the royal gardens back to our motorhome.
To avoid Monday morning traffic in a huge city (Warsaw has more then 1.7 Mio inhabitants) we drove for 45 km into the north, so that we will have an easier start tomorrow.
Now we are parking in a side street near the motorway and hope to have a restful night. I suggest that tonight we could skip the thunderstorm, because we already know, that it does not rain in, but mum hears the rain clearly on the roof. Even tough it does not disturb me, because Philip is sleeping in the bed over me, and he is blocking all the sounds.
Hello our dears, we are happy to know that you had a good start and a nice trip in Warsaw! It must be a wonderful city, thank you for the beautiful fotos!
We had a nice birthday party yesterday, it was like a little festival – like the may tree-cut in Zöbern you were with us 😉🌲😄
Many greetings to all, and have a good journey!
