The arrival to the Lofoten

Sunrise 3:10

This morning we woke up to the grey sky of a rainy morning. We ate breakfast and started the journey. This day we started by driving around some fjords and we discovered how the people of Norway get their electricity. They put the electricity high voltage cable from one side of the fjord to the other. Because of the big distance from one side to the other, the cables are very long and have a very big height difference from the start and to the end. So, the pols are at the end on a higher spot then the cable at the lowest point.

After we left the fjords behind we chose a road, that head a very big number of tunnels, so the journey continued in a rhythm witch was like this: we drove in a tunnel for a couple of minutes in the dark and then at the end of the tunnel we found ourselves in a place, witch was so beautiful that you had to pick your jaw of the floor, fascinated by the surrounding mountains stretching high above the emerald green sea. At the end of the tunnel rich path, we stopped at a city named Svolvær.

We parked there and walked to the harbor of the city, went over the bridge and landed in the middle of a hotel complex, which had several small read wooden houses around a central building. After we left the city, we went on a search for a toilet and a place to sleep.

We eventually found a toilet at a Viking museum, but sadly the museum was closed, so we drove further and stopped at a parking place a little bit of the street, and we will stay there for the night.
