Back on the road

Sunrise 4:33

This morning was cold and lazy. This was the first night that nothing woke me up until the morning and I was a little surprised. I thought of going on that tower again to see the morning view, but I was too tired and had a walk in the woods instead. When everybody was awake, we had breakfast and we cleaned our “home” again.

And we were once again on the road. The birds were loud, and the clouds were as fluffy as ever. I was still tired and fell asleep. But when I woke up, there were no more wood surrounding us, but big fields and lakes. For a moment it looked like one of the scenes right out of the book that I read. But this time we didn’t stop, because we had a goal and if we want to come anywhere (where it might be just as magical as it is here), then we can not stay here for long.

After a couple of hours, we found a place to stay and have lunch.

Until now we were used to straight roads, but suddenly it felt like we were on roller-coaster. Roads were going up and down and we never knew what is waiting for us after another turn.

We decided that we have had enough of moving around and wanted to stay somewhere a little longer. So, we found a beautiful place with wooden houses next to a large lake. The weather felt warmer than in the morning and it was very pleasant. On one of the trees was something similar to picado and we had a lot of fun trying it out (except dad, who almost lost his nerves while trying to fix our messed-up technique). We had some trouble trying to  find a nice road for an evening walk, and just as we found it, huge mosquitoes were gathering around our heads like their life depended on it and we were their only hope for surviving…

We were eventually able to escape our terrible faith of being eaten by these little monsters and went to sleep (kilometer 2.635)
