The watery way

Sunrise: 4:11

This morning we woke up at a place in the Finnish “outback’’ and had problem uploading the blog entry. There was next to zero connection. So, we ate breakfast and started the journey north. I was surprised that we didn’t meet any moos on the road, even though there were sings everywhere warning us about them.

Four hours later we still didn’t see any moos, so we decided to stop and have lunch next to a typical Finnish lake. This means that the lake is so big that you have trouble telling them apart from the ocean. After the lunch mum and Hanna went and wet their feet in the lake. The water was warm, but they couldn’t hold for long and soon we left the shore of the lake and drove further.

In the evening we stopped at a town that was split by a border between Finland and Sweden, but the most interesting thing that the two countries have, are two different time zones. So, I don’t know how the locals get through their issues with the time, and I don’t speak Finnish, so I could not have asked them.

For the night we are staying next to a big river in Sweden and this time I think, we will not have connection problem, because we have a signal tower on the other side of the road.
